Julie Wylie, a Nia technique black belt teacher and Nia training faculty white belt trainer, has released the Nia White Belt Intensive schedule for 2013. Dates include: February 23 to March 1; March 3 to April 14, Sundays; April 18-21 and April 26-28; July 13 to 19; and November 9 to 15. Trainings will be held at Movin’ East, in Austin.
Nia is a sensation-driven fitness program that stimulates and integrates the mind, body and spirit, leaving participants feeling recharged and rejuvenated. Created 30 years ago by Debbie Rosas and Carlos AyaRosas, Nia is done barefoot to diverse and inspiring music and incorporates 52 moves into routines that draw from disciplines of the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts—allowing individuals to work various joints and muscles for maximum impact.
