Kids in the Garden: Keyhole Garden Bed
Come and get your hands dirty while we work together to build a new keyhole veggie and herb garden at the Southwestern University Garden.
Come and help us plant our Community Spring garden kid-style. We will get our hands dirty working together to build a new keyhole veggie and herb garden at Southwestern University. A keyhole garden is a uniquely shaped raised-type planter that allows you to walk into the center of the garden and water or harvest your beautiful crop. (Don't forget that hands in the dirt = higher serotonin levels = happier humans!) We'll teach your kiddos all about the art of gardening and how to build a bed. Because we could all use a little bit of extra fun, we'll be making a Nature craft: Sun Paper!
