Join us as we dive into the history, importance and worldwide traditions of this time of year - the Winter Solstice and beginning of Winter.
The nights are getting longer and we're quickly moving towards 2019's Winter Solstice. Saturday, December 21st will mark the beginning of winter and the longest night of the year. Many cultures observe and celebrate this changing of the seasons because it marks the return of the sun - the longest night of the year makes way for less darkness and more light in our days. Join us as we dive into the history, importance and worldwide traditions of this time of year. We'll get our hands busy making something for you to take home and use to celebrate the solstice yourself.
