Join us for our 1/2 day summer camp, where your kiddo will enjoy hands-on cooking classes and experience new flavors. This camp series will focus on foods from around the world. Each day we will visit a different country, sample the tastes and aromas of the area and combine our skills to create a dish from scratch which the children will enjoy for lunch. When children get to help create a meal, they are more willing to try new foods and learn to enjoy more sophisticated and healthy flavors and textures. Each day while our meal is cooking we will work on a week-long herb project which will include learning and planting new herbs in our planter boxes as well as harvesting and creating herb bundles to take home at the end of the week.
We are a top allergy free kitchen and all recipes will be free of : Dairy, Eggs, Gluten, Soy, Nuts and Tree nuts. Some recipes may contain Coconut & Corn. We will be using some animal proteins.
Monday: Indian Spiced Lentils, Bahraini Rice, Fresh Salad
Tuesday: Mexican Taco Tuesday with Hand Made Tortillas, Fresh Salsa & Pickled Veggies
Wednesday: Traditional Eastern Ramen with Fresh Herbs & Veggies
Thursday: Handmade Gnocchi and Fresh Pesto
Friday: Spanish Paella & Fresh Tapenade
