Oct 01, 2019 05:06PM ● By Cat Carrel

Modern Acupuncture’s Arboretum and Westlake locations are currently offering the initial visit for free. Both clinics are open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. The initial visit has a value of $79 and will be waived for the patient’s first visit.

Acupuncture has been used for more than 2,500 years. It decreases inflammation and increases blood flow, which helps alleviate chronic pain of all kinds: headaches, joint pain, muscle pain, and more. Patients can experience relief without the side effects of treatments like surgery and prescription medications.

Traditional acupuncture utilizes tiny needles to access distinct points on the body to restore balance, alleviate pain, reduce stress and anxiety, enhance sleep, treat disease, and improve overall well-being. Traditional acupuncture treats the whole person.

All acupuncturists at Modern Acupuncture have masters or doctorate degrees and are state licensed with many years of experience.

Cost: Initial visit is free. Locations: Arboretum, 9722 Great Hills Trail, Austin, 512-599-4506,; and Westlake, 3300 Bee Cave Road, Austin, 512-580-2900,
